I am looking for an every day cleaner that is safe around my cat. I was using Mrs. Meyer’s as an all purpose cleaner until I saw that there was bergamot oil and birch bark extract, which I guess aren’t good for cats. I use Seventh Generation for a disenfectant, but it contains lemongrass which is also not good for cats. I obviously do not spray the cleaner directly on my cat, but if he walks on a countertop I have cleaned, is this dangerous? Are there any safe cleaners? Essential oils scare me!
I have been trying several things to find a good antibacterial cleaner for hardwood floor cleaner but Oreo has a OCD problem with licking the vet said. I had thought vignear or lemon oil or some name brand antibacterial cleaners but worried bout oreo licking. To clean the blinds and dining table it was soapy dish soap and water then dried it? what can i use on the floor that wont harm oreo if she licks? Are there in household chemicals i need to look out for so i dont use in case she does lick?

One that i currently use is called cif power and shine (dont think its available in the US, so im leaving a picture of the ingredients and their function), would you say its safe or not as dangerous as some others? I just mopped the floor with a floor cleaner ( fabuloso) and my cat had escaped the room I placed them in while cleaning. Omar began to lick his paws, and I am extremely concerned he will become extremely ill. In the future are there safer items to use that are not harmful to pets.

Hi - I was getting huge house centipedes in my new townhouse. We are right on the edge of a large wooded area. I heard peppermint oil helps. I dashed oil on the tracks of all upstairs windows. Not on the sill, not anywhere the cat can physically climb to get to. But after a few hours it's still kind of a strong peppermint smell. It's not being difused and it's not anywhere he can physically touch. But we can smell it in the air. Will he be ok? Cleaning up with Clorox wipes now in case.
