This feeder instantly got moisture in it from the seed or whether. I am guessing it is from the seed why would any feeder be made with holes in the top. This turned it into a rockhard mess, throwing away. What a waste of money.

Do NOT buy this one. It is NOT weatherproof. One week after putting it up, I was wondering why the seed hadn't gone down, with birds eating it. I came to discover that it let's in moisture, or creates moisture on it's own, and the seed becomes a brick-hard mess. Taking it back.

I bought this almost two months ago. I have multiple feeders and a lot of birds. This was the only feeder the birds did not eat from. I tried several different seeds that I know they liked. I am unsure of the problem. It is not water proof because the untouched bird seed was molded after several weeks. I threw it in the trash.

How do you clean the squirrel X - X8 feeder. Bird seed has gotten moist in the feeder. It has clumped. I can not get it out. I am very disappointed in the feeder. I know one thing, the squirrels leave it alone as do the birds.
