How do you clean the squirrel X - X8 feeder. Bird seed has gotten moist in the feeder. It has clumped. I can not get it out. I am very disappointed in the feeder. I know one thing, the squirrels leave it alone as do the birds.

How do I know if my bird is eating enough
I have 4 finch birds and 1 flew away recently but came back after 2 weeks but it was huddled to 1 side only with puffed up feathers and squinting eyes it is cold at night and hot in the morning.
