Moose has these strange markings on his belly. They don't seem to bother him and he's acting perfectly normal. Around his nipple is a little red, but the markings aren't and they feel just like the rest of his skin. He recently went to the vet for some dental work so he was put under anesthesia and they also gave him a rabies vaccination. Could that have anything to do with it? He's also been peeing on some unknown leaves lately, maybe he's allergic to them? Please help, thank you.
What is this Every time she does her business she squeaks Here is a picture
Noticed Moose has a rash on his lower lip. No changes in behavior doesn’t seem to be in pain. Saw it the day after we took Moose to the beach (cold- Maine)
Moose is acting super weird all of a sudden. He’s being extremely restless, pacing and constantly laying down and then getting up and changing positions. He seems uncomfortable or possibly in pain and I’m extremely worried. What should I do?
I recently posted on here asking about some markings on Moose's belly (Please read my last question for more info) Now the markings are red and scaly/scabbing. He's still completely unbothered by it and acting perfectly normal. I've done some research and I think it may be an allergic reaction? Some new leaves/bushes have been growing in our yard and that's become his new favorite spot to pee. We've removed the plants but what can I do to make the rash go away? Or is this something more serious?
We had to put our female 15 yr old Jack Russell Moose down 3 weeks ago. We want to get another small Dog but am very concerned if Buster our male Chihuahua will accept the new puppy. He and Moose were together for 8 years. He still looks for her. For the last 6-8 months he was her ears. Were looking for a female thinking they would get along better. Please any advice would help. Thanks Melinda
I noticed a tiny little bump on Moose's neck/chest a few days ago about the size of half a pea. It started out skin colored but now it's red and scabbing. It doesn't seem to bother him and he's still acting normal (other than licking his paws and itching his ears). We recently found out he's allergic to something in his food so we've been switching his diet a lot and he was allergic to the last food we tried (hence the licking his paws and itching his ears). Could this be an allergic reaction?
found this on my dogs chest
Moose (3yrs, YorkiePoo) had surgery to remove a foreign object. He had a few staples that came out a few days ago. He's back to being his happy, energetic self and isn't in any discomfort. Some white bumps have appeared along his healed incision line. He also has some white marks/discolouration on his skin, and a patch of flaky skin around his genitals. Are these normal after-effects of major surgery? I was wondering if the bumps were keyloid scars or something more serious.
I was recently informed when my significant other's grandmother passes( which will unfortunately probably be sometime this year) we are going to be the most likely to inherit her dogs. Can you guys offer any advice on incorporating a middle-aged Jack Russell and a slightly obese senior Chihuahua and to the family of a Lab mix puppy a Chiweenie puppy and a young cat?
Hello What's this dog breed?
Thank you so much Dr.Melanie and sorry for taking up your time without paying for your services. I tried to give it some honey and placed it in a box with some blankets to keep it warm. Hopefully you see this so I don’t look like a weirdo and again this is the only I can contact you as I can not afford to pay for the premium services right now. I can post here again another time to let you know if the kitty pulled through if you’d like. Thank you again.
