What age is considered senior? I have one cat that is 7 years old and two that are 5 years old. Two of my fur babies are overweight and one is slightly overweight. My fur babies now have very, very smelly poop, which is recent, just within the last two weeks...could this be food related?
What food is good for cats who are five years old ?
Hi i know this is weird but i have a guinea pig named rosie. I got her from a friend 2 years ago. I don't know her age but i know she's pretty old. But her eyes look a bit weird now. Like her eyes are white but i can see under her eyelids and it makes em look weird...she also closes her eyes a lot now. And I'm not sure if its because she's sleepy or her eyes are irritated. She acts normal though. Eating , drinking squeaking for food. She doesn't move as much as she use to though Maybe age?
18 yr old cat. Increased appetite but decreased weight. Months of black tarry stools, recently started pooping on my bed. Still has a shiny coat, healthy teeth and gums, and big purr. I’ve tried a variety of different high quality vet recommended diets including home cooked meals - all to no avail. She seems to have more anxiety lately. I’m planning on doing blood work but as she’s an indoor cat, I️ can’t imagine what’s ailing her that’s curable. Is it time to let go?
My short hair orange tabby just turned 12. He's always been a nimble kitty who could easily scale a wooden fence to get into the neighbor's yard. Lately I've noticed his jumps onto our average height bed aren't quite as nimble as they used to be. He's successful most of the time, but once in a while it takes two tries. He doesn't seem to be in any outright pain. Do you think this is normal for a cat his age? His appetite is better than ever and his weight seems average.
Our cat Jake is almost ten years old. For years he’s been overweight and is obsessed with water. Whenever he breathes, his sinuses sound clogged and he weezes. His breathe also has a very foul fish odor.

11 year old male inside cat has a swollen chin/under his mouth.
My cat, 11 years old, seems to have a skin tumor or tumors. One which he's had for years on the top of his head seems like a wart, white, solid, grown slowly, no oozing, etc. Other is on his shoulder and has either come up quickly or we just didn't notice it until recently. It's half the size of a dime, domed, gray, oozes if squeezed. Also has broken top canine tooth and has had a runny nose for awhile, the mucus either turns black or gathers dirt. Otherwise seems healthy, eats, drinks, happy.
