We had to put our female 15 yr old Jack Russell Moose down 3 weeks ago. We want to get another small Dog but am very concerned if Buster our male Chihuahua will accept the new puppy. I noticed a tiny little bump on Moose's neck/chest a few days ago about the size of half a pea. It started out skin colored but now it's red and scabbing. It doesn't seem to bother him and he's still acting normal (other than licking his paws and itching his ears). We recently found out he's allergic to something in his food so we've been switching his diet a lot and he was allergic to the last food we tried (hence the licking his paws and itching his ears). Could this be an allergic reaction?
