Garlic Powder in the Soft Treats

Worried for Dogs

I was talking with a friend of mine about my dog's easily upset stomach and about allergies. Since the hard treats never seemed to effect her I would happily go with any of the treats the they had not really thinking about it too much since the hard treats already were so good on her. I was telling them how I would look at the ingredent lists of everything because of my dog's allergies and how Milkbone was so good since they didn't have anything she was allergic to listed and that is when I saw it on the soft treats: Garlic Powder. Garlic in a dog treat... That I have been giving her because I just trusted the brand due to the hard treats that do not have it listed in there at all... From what I remember Garlic as well as Onion even in small amounts can be very harmful for dogs. She would throw up every now and again and I thought it was just her tummy troubles, but it turns out I could have accidentally be giving her something that can want will CAUSE the troubles if not do worse! There should NEVER be garlic or onion in anything that is for pets! I am just happy I caught it sooner rather than later!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The treats are small and the doggie enjoyed them. Good training treats. Good for all size dogs. My dog will do tricks. They don’t smell like typical treats and don’t really smell bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are some of the best dog treats I’ve gotten from the market! My pup has a very sensitive tummy, and these don’t upset her one bit. You know it’s good whenever you crinkle the bag and your dog goes nuts! Highly recommend.
