Great low calorie treat for my 120 lb. big guy..Rescued him at 8 weeks. 6 different breeds. BIG ones obviously. He likes any flavor and knows it's a treat.

I would give this product a 5 except for this last box of medium milkbones. They are slightly smaller and break easily...something they never did before. Two of my dogs won't eat them now and the other two only eat one and don't beg for another. This was not the case before when they would not stop begging for them. I wonder if the tariffs had something to do with this obvious change in taste smell and consistency. I can understand if made slightly smaller but what happened to the taste? This has been my go to for dog treats as they are or were more healthy than other items on the market. I have purchased the large box for years. Dogs would consume them fast but now I don't think they will finish this new box. Really sad.

What is different, what and why :(

I don’t know what’s different in these, is what it’s saying formula change is true? Either way, I have had my 3 dogs on milk bone treats for years, they would beg for them..not so much anymore. I hate to leave this review, but you need to know or the makers need to know. So I did a test today, I bought a different kind of dog treat and put the two in front of the dogs. The milk bone treat was even bigger but they went for the new ones that’s a bit smaller. Now something that’s disappointing in milk bone treat compared to the one I bought, the 2nd ingredient in milk bone is sugar, the new ones don’t have any sugar, not even a form of sugar. If you take the sugar out of them and make them more healthy, I think you will have a hit on your hands. Then advertise no sugar! Anyway, today and till maybe the old formula without sugar can be in milk bone I’m not going to purchase them. Sorry, just speaking the truth..p.s. after all these years I didn’t even notice there was sugar in them till the other day. Please take sugar out of the dog treats. With the calorie and sugar content, it’s like giving our dogs a snickers bar every treat. NO please! Thank you to the makers of Milkbone!

I have fed my dogs Milk Bone treats for over 60 years but recently my dog doesn't like and won't eat them anymore. Did the formula change? I have a 10 lb box my dog refuses to even taste. Very disappointed.

We’ve fed our dog Wookie Milk Bones his entire life. He’s now months away from his 15th birthday and slowing down. He’s been incredibly picky, but he will still lift his head for a yummy Milk Bone.
