i bought this 2 months ago and the rubber came off the part where it is held into the door frame. I paid $130 for this gate and it lasted no time. The company I bought (petco) will not do anything.

Awesome products. Heavy duty. My dog can not jump over it.

Product was relatively to install except that I put the extension on, then realized it was going to fit. My door width is 32". It feels a little unsteady because at that length there's only about 1/2" of bolt into the frame, but it worked out. My only other issue is that it is not obvious if it is glowing, I certainly could not see it glowing at 3am and ran right into it holding our puppy. however it does its main purpose very well and is much better than a crate from our puppies perspective.

this gate works very well and one can open it in either direction. easy to assemble- my only negative is that I did not think about the door handle to get a key in on the outside (garage) no room due to the gate. but no problem where I live,I use this for the door that goes from laundry room to garage. I have 2 cats and a granddog who visits. it helps a great deal,

Easy to install, door swings both ways, and seems very sturdy.

I bought this pet gate for the end of my hallway and it's great! Despite what other people say, you CAN install this with your hands if you understand simple physics. They give you a little stamped steel wrench which you can choose to use, but it saves time to just pull in on the post and turn the adjusting nut by hand. I find it very easy to open with 1 hand. Just grab the handle, slide the release with your thumb, lift and swing. Even the kids have no issues. The notch at the bottom keeps my dogs from pushing it open and the spring return is a nice feature. I have been using mine for about a year now for my dog day care business and I'm definitely going to buy a few more for our newly remodeled basement.

This was actually easy to install, taller for big dogs, and sturdy. I put one in and ordered a second. Had no problems opening. Hopefully long lasting.

I have pet gates on virtually every door and this one is the worst. Others install with your hands tightening the tension. This requires a WRENCH. Granted they give a terrible little one but you will need your own. It is also the most difficult to open. It takes 2 hands. I pull up and up. The notch at the bottom is really deep. If you have a big powerful dog and rarely open the gate, I guess this might work.
