Perfect big size for a guinea pig or bunny! Easy to put together too

The cage arrived with a broken base (where sides hook in) and platform (tab that holds platform in place). I’ve been trying to get Petco to replace the parts or the cage for over two weeks. However, because this is coming from a 3rd party vendor nothing is getting done. The cage is otherwise nice and I do like it.

I usually keep my little holland lop in a open top 6x4 pen which I think is better for my rabbit. However, my granddaughter and her cat are staying with me for awhile, so I needed a safe place for my rabbit. Pros- pretty good size for a small rabbit, easy to assemble, sides are high enough to keep most of the hay inside, rabbit likes to jump up on the shelf. Cons - it’s a little flimsy, hay bin doesn’t attach well, water bottle too small. Acates just aren’t the best option.

I usually don't buy things that don't have reviews but I needed a hedgie home quick and I didn't have a lot to spend. This Midwest Wabbitat met his size requirement and it was on sale for $68! Assembly was simple, some of the base pieces just needed to be hit into place. Instructions were clear. I love that the whole front of this cage opens up, it made it very easy to put in the big fleece blanket my little hedgehog is now sleeping with. A few things to note: 1. This is not as sturdy as the Living World XL cage (~$158). That was my second choice but I do think this cage is worth it's price. Just can't lean on the top of this thing. Luckily my hedgie isn't a climber but I'll be watching out for him to change his mind and I can always make modifications. 2. The water bottle isn't great. The plastic bottle is thin and flimsy. I can't get it to hang low enough for my hedgehog to be able to use it. That's fine because he's gonna continue to use a water bowl. 3. The clips that hold the wire top to the base aren't super tight. To sum it up, I do think it's worth it despite it's flaws. I don't know that it would hold up to rabbits but I'm not 100% sure. I would keep an eye on any rambunctious critters. I think this is gonna be just great for my grumpy hog.
