What is a good name

I bought a 42"Last week and buying this one now. I'm using both for outside dog houses at my daughter when I go to visit or spend the night. I would not buy nothing else. They have the same brand and size at home to stay in at night.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Size not as described per Petco.

I will be returning this product as I need something that fits under a desk that is 27.5" tall. The large that they call 37" has actual dimensions of 36.75x24.75x27.75. Those are true dimensions. Another thing to note is that this does not have the paw block extra wire where the latches open like the lifestages crate midwest has.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Garbage

Absolutely junk. First one came bent and damaged out of the box. Thought it might be a one-off so ordered another one. Second one came even more mangled. Stay away from these.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Broken Tray Upon Arrival

The tray within the crate arrived broken along the lip, but we figured it would be fine, but after weeks of use, our puppy chewed the tray where it was originally damaged and now the tray is unusable.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Midwest Ultima Double door crate

I really like not being “stuck” on the location of this crate. I have 2 Bernese Mountain dogs and the single door crate limits placement options.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Can u Use this for a 3 year old great Dane

What is the wire gauge of the crate?

    1. In answering another question, the manufacturer wrote "It is made with 7 & 9 gauge wire."

I need a crate for 3 small dogs weight each weights 20lbs. Across country trip

    1. I think it will be really tight for 3 dogs that size. A 23" x 36" is as small as I would use . I think the two door type is great . Hope this helps.

I pick up my pomsky puppy next week.  She is currently about 3 pounds.  Will be between 10 and 12 fully grown.  Should I get small or x-small crate?

    1. From a puppy size question, I don't have an answer. My Lucas was adopted at 5 months old. He is now 62lbs. Because I go camping and take him to other people's houses for many days, I got the largest crate that would fit in my car. I am very happy with how it has withstood years of travel and use. I got one for the house too because I was tired of moving the one back and forth. He has some issues with trying to get at the cats so this is where he stays during extremely hot days or fireworks. I'm not sure if this helps you, but my advice is to get the bigger one if your pup is going to use it as a temporary home on occasion. It comes with a divider to keep the size small for potty training..

What is the weight of the X-Large crate?

can we purchase a replacement rubber mat bottom for the cage?

      1. The replacement pans are available through on-line retailers such as Petco. You can also purchase a rubber mat for the bottom of the crates.

I am picking up my mini golden doodle puppy and she is expected to be approximately 20 pounds when fully-grown. What is the best size crate for her?

      1. The crate size recommended for a dog between 11 - 25 lbs is a 24" crate.

Does this crate have roller/wheels?  If so, are they applicable to wood floors?

      1. The Ultima Pro comes with four rubber crate feet that are attached to the bottom of the crate. These are designed as floor protectors.

I have a 75# labradoodle who has destroyed his current crate is this crate heavy duty enough to hold him safely

      1. The Midwest Ultima Pro is our heaviest wire gauge crate. It is made with 7 & 9 gauge wire. While we cannot guarantee that your dog won't be able to damage the crate, this is the crate that we suggest for people who have dogs with anxiety issues and for those who have rescue dogs.
