Why does my dog chew up his beds? What would be the best bed for an aging dog?
We are desperate for help with crating Woody. From 4 am on he whines and cries. We give him a VetriScience Composure Behavioral Health snack before bed, and give him plenty of toys (right away and when he starts whining). We even got a larger crate for him (30 inches), and cover it so it's den like. Is there anything stronger that will keep him sleeping longer? What can we do to help him ease into crating? We are ready to give up on crating/put him in another room :(

Hi, I have a F1 Miniature Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog Mix that I am picking up on Wednesday. The mother (Bernese) is 60 pounds and the father (mini poodle) is 15 pounds. Can you advise me on what sized Crate to buy? I'm not sure how big he will be and I was looking online and thinking of buying a 36-inch Intermediate size crate. My second ?, I was going to buy Earthbath Oatmeal shampoo. Do you recommend that? Any bristle brush recommendations? Any health warnings on the breed? Thank you!!

The dog cannot be noisy, as per as landlord I'm gonna raise the dog with my own money, so budger will be pretty low Also vet is in another city, so I can't go on a regular visit I'll have to attend classes, so the dog will be left alone for max 10 hours 5 days a week. I'm having trouble trying to find the proper enclosure for my dog. She seems to be having separation anxiety and she already destroyed a part of my door after only being alone for 2 hours. I'm gone for work for about 9 hrs a day so I don't want something where she wouldn't be able to move comfortably..what should I do?
I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
My Shih Tzu is 6 months old now and I always wonder whenever it's her time to sleep, she keeps on scratching the bed, more likely "digging" something before lying down.
My 12 year old female yorkie sleeps over 20 hours a day. She doesn't like much attention, not even scratched, petted or talked to. Her cropped tail is always down. She coughs and gags periodically. Her left ear is swollen inside and she constantly has mucus in her eyes. She's been taking steroids an antibiotic and salve for her ear. She's also had an allergy shot because she's had some irritation between her toes. What can I do for my baby.
I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.

My 7 yr old dog has separation anxiety issues. My Veterinarian recommended trying OTC Melatonin 3mg. Can someone recommend a particular brand of OTC Melatonin to purchase? I'm afraid Xylitol made be an ingredient that is not disclosed on the package. I contacted Natures Made. I was told No Xylitol in the Melatonin.
