MidWest's QuietTime Defender Crate Covers provide your pet with a quiet, private sanctuary of their own! The easy-to-use kennel or crate cover simply slips over the top of your MidWest crate, providing your pet with a relaxing environment while you are away! This crate cover offers Teflon fabric protector, which allows liquid spills to bead up and be easily wiped away. Teflon fabric protector stands up to any mess and makes it easier to keep your crate cover looking newer longer. QuietTime Defender Crate Covers allow for proper ventilation and can be used with most 1, 2, or 3 door crates, giving entrance and access from multiple sides. If your dog prefers a little light, each side can be lifted and laid on top of the crate.

I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
Need help crate training. Will sleep fine at night, and in car. Will sometimes whines in the crate alone (say 2 out of 10 times ). She has a dog run and she is doing very well in there increasing her times in there as I do school online. How long should we get her comfortable in there if she has a big sheltered dog run ?
Any tips about crate intolerance? I would like to have my dog crate trained because he poops when I leave even though he is potty-trained. Also I feel like a safe space would be good for him as he also has separation anxiety.
My new puppy is getting broken in to being in a crate when no one is home. He has puppy pads in there in case he hasnto use the bathroom and of course no one is there to let him out at the moment. When i come home his pads are sometimes ripped up and he only rips them when he’s left alone. To help avoid him tearing up things in his crate should i leave a blanket over his crate so he can’t see when people come and go and he’ll stay calm?
I adopted a medium mixed dog yesterday. He was neutered the day before. The humane society's record showed he was crate trained. He barks almost constantly when in his crate, except the first few minutes when he's working on his peanut butter Kong. I walk him before crating and he urinates and sometimes has a BM during the walk. If I can't get this addressed, I may have to return him. Please help!
when i crated my puppy for time out i closed the door she had extreme anxiety. it took a month to get her to like it again. she goes in and out of it at night. water is on a bracket inside the crate. I have not put the door on it so she can come up with me when she wants but almost every night she has an accident on the carpet, I have it covered with plastic as best i can but- how do i get her to accept staying in the crate alone?
Our dachshund is quiet and relaxed. He hardly ever barks when with us. He’s only barked when the only person in the house is in the shower and they’re quiet. He doesn’t bark at anything else. But when we leave the house, He barks and escapes the crate. How do we stop this behavior?
She keeps pooping in her crate! She does not poop after she eats, but waits hours to go. At night, she quietly poops in her crate. We have a divider to make the area small, feed her Science Diet food, set an alarm to take her out in the middle of night. Nothing is working!!
I brought my 1.5 year old dog home today from the shelter. I am tired and want to get sleep. Is it okay to leave her in the crate with just a chew toy overnight? So far when I have put her in the crate she has clawed on the door trying to get out. I want to learn more about her personality before I let her sleep with me.
Is it best to crate train a 6 mos old puppy you rescued from a shelter? How long can you leave him while you are at work?
Hello I just got a lab, 3 years old. I was told she was potty trained ..crate trained and has lived with cats. My question is should I crate her at night and while I. At work until she gets familiar with my house and my cats? And how long does that take?
Hi. My friends got a dog yesterday and I volunteered to help train her. She is a mix, with some Pit Bull and Boxer in her. She doesn’t have a name yet. I want to start with getting her comfortable in her crate because last night she was barking a lot. Then I want to get her to bond a bit with her new owners. Anything else I should do today? It’s her 2nd day home, so I don’t wanna stress her too much. Also, what should I do over the next few weeks? Thanks!
