Well made & great price & soft & dogs love it etc

Murphy seems to be very happy. It is so soft and good for cuddling in.

This is a very well made dog bed with nice fabric. The 'inside' where the dog lays is that super soft, sheepskin-like fabric, but is softer and nicer than you usually find in a dog bed. The sides are a nice, thick suede material that looks and feels like good quality. The bottom is a thick satin-feeling poly material. The padding that makes it so nice for dogs is a layer of foam rubber beneath the shearling-type fabric. The only problem is that this can't be washed in a home machine. No wonder they don't include laundering instructions in their ads. It can only be washed in a 'non-agitating' machine- in other words, only at a laundromat, I guess, or wherever one can find a non-agitating washing machine. Darn it! I would GLADLY have paid extra for the same product with a zipper added. Will have to see if I can find someone to put one in. If one could remove the foam rubber and wash this bed, it would be just about perfect. Not sure, really, whether we'll keep and go to a lot of trouble and expense to make it right, or return it and try another brand. (There were no reviews to read about the product before deciding about it.)
