We tried this for the inside of our chihuahua cage. It was the ONLY brand that he didn’t destroy overnight. He is a rescue who is petrified to be in the cage BUT he’s also not house trained, so after trying several types including an expensive “ non destructive” bed, we discovered this lasted the longest. We think perhaps it’s the type of fur used? Either way we bought three additional. We have one on the couch, the bed, and a spare for inside the cage.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This Bed Was a Godsend! Literally!

We rescued a 3 year old 7 lb chihuahua mix. Turns out he wasn’t house trained as we were led to believe ( misunderstanding between rescue and foster) AND he was also confinement phobic! Oh boy! This poor dog was so anxiety filled, that he would chew holes through EVERY pad we bought for his crate. We tried to gate him in kitchen and we ate through the wood and plastic gate, then got stuck in between a metal gate the next night. We even bought a VERY expensive extra tough bed thinking THIS will be the one he won’t destroy. Nope…..as the camera showed, within 1 hour he chewed several holes on the top, flipped the bed, then proceeded to chew the bottom! We were at our wits end, realizing he’d have to be left in the crate without anything comfortable to lay on. That broke my heart. I bought two of these because they did not have lots of filling which is what he seemed to go after. Also, unlike all the other beds, this was furry, so I wondered if he would chew it?!?? Well he did NOT! We cannot say WHY he does not make holes in this ( maybe he’s smart enough not to want a furry mouth lol). Either way, he will still flip it and claw at it when in a panic but no holes!!! Thankfully we are working with the vet and a behaviorist and his anxiety is much improved with he addition of some medications. What shocked me is that as hard as he was clawing at these pads, very little fur has come off and there are still no bald patches as you’d expect.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great for a Malamute

Have had one of these for the 48 x 30 wire crate that our young malamute female prefers. She has enjoyed it for sleeping at night in our bedroom since she was 6 months old, she is now 20 months and full size. She is our 7th mal and they certainly can chew anything to bits in a heart beat when they are young. She must love this since she has never put a tooth on it. She really likes the side pads for her head and lies in all positions. Getting another one so we can wash and dry the first one. Don't believe the review that it is not for large active dogs. She is very much both.

Yes, I recommend this product.

All three of my cats have gone into the open cage to snuggle on this bolster. It is very soft. It is furry, which may be a good thing for brushing out.

Yes, I recommend this product.
