I saw this under the ferret tab and this is a horrible cage for ferrets. Number one, they climb. They are escape artists and this would be a joke for a ferret.

I bought this cage a week ago, and ever since my guinea pig has been really active and happy. I highly recommend this cage. I got it for my one guinea pig(can’t be with others) and he really likes it! It is so much bigger than it looks. And it is washable!!!!!!

I bought because I needed a much bigger habitat for my cavys they love it its perfect for outside summer use and indoor over winter use does have a fold away top that locks in place for pets safety and so my dogs can't get to them my dachshund adorers my pigs my niece loves them plenty of room for two cage mates

This is like a playpen. There is not top part to it. My issue was that my cat thought it was her own litter box and would jump in there when the pigs were in too.

I received mines today and it was very easy to assemble like extremely easy no hassle. Its very big. Good enough for 1 or 2 guinea pigs. The quality is very good and everything works well. It has two doors and nothing came broken. Very happy with my purchase.

Can i buy new plastic/canvas?

Is this big enough for a Chinchilla?
- Chinchillas prefer more height than floor space They like to jump on multiple ledges and this cage just isn't set up for that kind of thing. Try the Midwest Critter Nation or Midwest Ferret Nation for chinchillas.

Does it come with a top lid?
- No, it does not have a lid or divider. Those only come with the Habitat Plus. Both are nice cages, easy to clean and easy access to the piggies.

do you think a tote lid would be long enough to cover the top for when i’m out and about?
- I don't think a totem lid would be big enough unless it's really large. We have 2 Guinea pigs in ours and never had a an issue with them getting out. G.P's don't climb and it's tall enough that jumping out is extremely hard. We have a plastic house with steps and even then they never try to escape, it's a great place to keep them. We have a standard cage for travel.

how many guinea pigs can fit? i need a cage that can fit about two or three.
- I would not put 3 guinea pigs in here. Just because they “fit” doesn’t mean it’s adequate. 2 females should be okay. For 2 males you made need more space as they can be somewhat territorial and low space can cause fighting.
