Does anyone have measurements for the top bed part?
How does the sissal material do over time? Does it get completely shredded?
What are the dimensions of the base?
WHat is the diameter of the round bed at the top?

- Yes it does and it is very poor quality so thin it has dried glue seeped through the fabric all over. The grass also lasted about a week and it looks 10 years old. Would never buy it again or ever suggest this

What are the dimensions of the top basket, and will this hold my 13 lb cat?
- The top perch is approximately 15" diameter.

2 Questions: Is the top round bed padded & removable? And, what is the height in inches from floor up to the mid-level resting platform/bench? Leaping up & jumping down is becoming difficult for my senior cat.
- It is padded but not removeable. From the floor to the mid-level platform would be approximately 24".

Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. At 1st he's would pounce the scratch not understanding he could scratch it as well, until I pour a little catnip on it..its organic, but wondering if it's alright brand? Or if there is a better idea to help him also understand vertical scratch post as well. as you can see he understands, he's not grasping vertical post besides walls/sofa

My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
My cat’s got a cat tree that’s 2m tall. She sleeps on the highest bit. Her food bowl is on the second highest level. And her water fountain is on the floor. She doesn’t play with the tree or outside of it at all. she only climbs it to sleep and eat. She was a bit overweight before she got the tree and now I’ve noticed she’s lost weight she looks more fit. Could the weight loss be simply because she’s been having to climb to sleep and eat?
I am building my cat a cat tree, using a branch from a tree for part of it. My question is is there anything I can use on the wood, or the branch that would be cat safe? I mean in terms of stain, or sealer, or varnish, etc. Any recommendations of cat friendly products, to seal or preserve the pieces of the cat tree, would be dearly appreciated!
