What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
We recently got an electronic doggie door. While we are training them we have it set to unlocked. Our 50-pound lab mix has pretty much figured it out. However we also have midna the Chiweenie she is scared of the door I think so because we had to buy it says for the bigger dog and every time she considers going through right after Sarah it smacks her in the face. I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? I created a play area with a gate for my 9 week old. In a large area. I put her crate, toys, water and pee pad in there with her. I've tried putting her in there when I'm home and not home and she just barks and whines the entire time unless I go in there with her. What can I do to ensure her its her area and she is safe? Is this seperation anxiety?
