I bought the contour crate for the door protection. You have to lift it up, latch it and then down for extra security. Others you just slide latch across and it is too easy to open, especially by your dog. I will be buying next size for my growing dog

It is a decent crate, but we wish it was made from a heaver gauge wire. The crate arrived with some bends in the wire openings. Nothing serious that I couldn't bend back with a couple of fingers. But a strong dog will be able to bend the doors and pop them open or even destroy the crate.

The crate is the correct size listed online, comes with one plastic carrying handle, and a removable divider for inside the crate. Sliding the removable pan out from the bottom is a bit tricky because the hook has to fold into the crate and somehow get under the pan, but it does slide out once you get the hook out of the way.

Big crate for our soon to be big dog

We have a 5 month old Great Dane/Mastiff mix that outgrew his clam shell style crate. This one is definitely giving him the room he needs and was easy to setup. he quickly took to it and lays in it anytime he wants to be alone and sleep. We also found a $9 crib mattress that fits perfectly inside it giving him some padding to lay on. Door is easy to open and latch and all my kids, even my 6 year old, can do it no problem.
