I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
I'm having a hard time keeping patty focus when I'm training her. My backyard is spacious and lately I've been considering training her in a pen. Is this a good idea to try out?
I need to know the general guidelines on how much exercise and stimulation a large dog requires. I work at a place where a large dog (Great Pyrenees) is kept in an 8 x 10 structure 24 hours a day. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.

I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
3yo housebroken Retriever/Husky mix, female. Very sweet, I adopted her yesterday. She finally peed outside this morning, but yesterday she peed on the rug after drinking a lot of water repeatedly out of my running water outdoor fountain. I've since covered it. Any advice? Likely just moving jitters? Also, she has yet to have a movement. I take her out every 2 hours and we hit the park this morning. Thanks for your advice!
