Waited over a week to get it approved I had to contact the doctor myself and his secretary told me that they had not heard from Petco at all and this is after waiting almost a week for a response from Petco. Very frustrated about this.

We have tried several different anti inflammatory medications for our 13 year old Aussie with arthritis issues. He has now been on Metacam for a couple of months and it seems to be working the best with no adverse side effects. It is easy to dispense once a day on his food. The only problem currently seems to be a general shortage in the supply of the medication. We have had a difficult time finding it on a consistent basis and now have active prescriptions with three different pharmacies. Otherwise we would give it 5 stars.
