- Hi Carriejh, This crate is designed to fit a medium sized dog, however to ensure your dog will fit comfortably please refer to the interior dimensions of the crate which are 17.48″D x 27.64″W x 22.76″H. Your dog should be able to stand up, lie down, and turn around comfortably inside of those dimensions to ensure a proper size. Do let us know if you have any other questions.

What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?

Hi, i need some help with my dog. We are about to be evicted because she has gained weight and will not pass the laws in the building. We live in BC and will not surrender our dog but we are coming to the last 3 days of trying to solve this problem of her weight/height. A Our property manager has asked for a letter from a vet starting that our dog is not over 20' and not over 40 lbs'. Could anyone assist us? We are devastated. 1 bedroom in BC costs $2100 and are very hard to find.
Need help crate training. Will sleep fine at night, and in car. Will sometimes whines in the crate alone (say 2 out of 10 times ). Hi, i have a beautiful dog part american bulldog and australian shepard. 3 months and 2 weeks old 26 pounds. I wanted to know if it was safe for him to sleep outside my backyard. I have a dog house with enough room for him to sleep warm and dry beside my house. He is up to date on his shots incohdig heart worm. Weather in houston tx is around 55-70. I just want to make sure if he would be okay sleeping outside in his dog house permentaly cause he getting to big for doggy door .

We got a sweet girl today. She was raised in a kennel, held her whole life in a kennel, got very little socialization with other animals and humans (one of each), and is obviously experiencing side effects from this. We have a crate we got for our first baby, as she likes to sleep with no disturbance. Telakora refuses to leave the crate now that our first girl was let out. She's quite skittish, and flinches. Is there anything I can do to help her, other than the obvious, loads of love?

Hi there. Rescued chocolate lab used as a breeding dog. She was never potty trained. I guess kept outside in a large cage. People shouldbe jailed... Have tried rewarding ect. The normal methods. Very good dog now has big yard. Choosing to bathroom in house on carpet of course. willing to try anything to work through this. Any recommendations or tricks? Tried treats, praising. Not sure what else besides trainer (expensive) but not out of question.
