Seems to me like zuvila became unavailable and has been replaced by a different brand of the same thing? Or at least that's how it looked to me online a year ago when I wanted another one. If you can't get the right panel from zoovilla, maybe you or someone can make one out of like particle board heavy particle board apply wood or wood? Will be easy to make it the right dimensions, and I think the challenge would be how to stabilize it when the clip that keeps it in place isn't working but there's probably a way to rig that.

I haven’t experienced any smell from the beginning, we’ve had the tree for about a year and a half now. 

The shelves are large enough for the right size pad. Just secure them so kitty doesn’t slip if pad moves during play.

There is a foot between levels. My cats are on the younger side and climb easily from level to level, but they don't like this as much as a standard cat tree.

Hi Phoebe 2 - the total height is 60.24″H, the outside length and wide of the unit is 16.85″W x 40.16″L. The height to the top of the highest shelf is approx 52".
