I thought it was a very beautiful, good quality toy until I gave it to my 1 year old puppy. Let's say she destroyed it before the new smell faded way. I highly high hopes because I haven't found a toy yet that conquered her. She chewed all the little spikes off the handle. Maybe if they made it smooth or twisted, she wouldn't be able to grib it.

This toy is big enough for larger sized dogs, but not durable enough for my strong chewers. It lasted about 4 hours, which is longer than to be expected with them. It was a perfect size for them to play tug of war

This is a fun toy but not sturdy enough for dogs who like to chew and pull on toys. My dog was able to play with it for about a day and a half and he is a 4 year old lazy French bulldog, so I would not suggest this toy for an active dog who likes to chew.
