We understand that every cat is different and that optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, activity level and environment. 3 oz. can: When fed alone to adults, feed 2 cans per 7.5 lbs. of body weight per day, for kittens up to twice this amount and for pregnant or lactating mothers up to three times this amount. For combination feeding, reduce 1/4 cup dry for every 1 can wet. 5.5 oz. can: When fed alone to adults, feed 1 can per 6.5 lbs. of body weight per day, for kittens up to twice this amount and for pregnant or lactating mothers up to three times this amount. Can someone suggest me if Merrick whole Health brand is good for cats? Also my ragdoll kitten is 1yr 1month old now. Can I feed her cat food instead of kitten food? Since there is very limited choice of good brands in India , I could find Fancy feast Purina and Merrick only for wet food. And he prefers many flavors and wet food.

I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. Our vet said she needed to be changed to a high fiber diet which we did immediately (Image attached below). This was in fact one of the ones the vet told us to buy. However, she now wants wet food and I have no clue what to give her. I read up on Merrick and am unsure which specifically to buy. Help! Please and thank you!

Is it safe to give canned salmon for humans to my persian kitten? (Instead of his morning meal of meat/fish) He is on royal canin dry food as well.
We currently feed Rex Merrick brand salmon and sweet potato dry and he has had no problems with it but had read something that Purina had bought Merrick and there is some question about the now quality of the food that they may have changed the ingredients. Do you have any information about the quality decreasing or a reason we should change foods? Or have a brand you recommend as a back up option?
