Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Every dog is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use the information below as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed. Dry and wet food in combination will help to increase the level of water in your dog's diet. I am considering transitioning my puppy from hills science to merrick grain free dry dog food. Is merrick a good brand? What are the benefits of grain free dry dog food? What are the differences in feeding a dog salmon Vs chicken vs lamb vs duck?
I have recently adopted a dog. He is a mixed breed-shepard. At 6 months he weighed 50 pounds and he is currently going on 8 months old. I’ve been feeding him the Merrick grain free puppy beef and sweet potato all breed food. The kibble is small. He is getting 4 cups a day. He’s still skinny and eats it quickly. is there a more suited food for him? And when should I transition him to adult food?
I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
Best inexpensive boxer dry dog food
We currently feed Rex Merrick brand salmon and sweet potato dry and he has had no problems with it but had read something that Purina had bought Merrick and there is some question about the now quality of the food that they may have changed the ingredients. Do you have any information about the quality decreasing or a reason we should change foods? Or have a brand you recommend as a back up option?
Hi, I'm wondering which is a better pet food for my dog. Either Fromm four star grain free beef frittata veg or a gently cooked grain free food called my perfect pet, beef and lamb blend? (Roxys & Knights) Are both equally as good? Please explain, thanks!
I have 2 overweight dogs, a 2yr old chihuahua(9lbs) and a 12yr old shih tzu(20lbs). We have always fed them kibbles and bits dry dog food with alpo wet dog food.Last week I went out and bought merrik healthy weight, only feeding them this dry food now. Normally at dinner time they eat all of their food in one sitting. With the new food they don’t eat it until later and do not eat the entire daily recommendation because they do not like the new food.Is this okay or do I need to find food they like
Hi I'm adopting a rat terrier, age 7, 13 lbs....Which dry food is best and no table food allowed? Thanks from Patsy
I have a 10 month old Chihuahua that is a picky eater. What dry dog food should I give him
This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. Bag of food says 4 cups daily. Any suggestions?
