Feed an adult dog 3 to 4 bowls (3.5 oz) per 10 lbs of body weight daily. Up to 11 weeks of age, feed as much as your puppy will eat in 3 to 4 feedings per day. 11 to 26 weeks of age, feed 3 to 4 bowls per 5 lbs of body weight per day. 26 to 52 weeks of age, feed 2 to 3 bowls per 5 lbs of body weight per day. When can you switch puppy to adult food?
- You don’t have to stop giving your dog this puppy food. We adopted my puppy a couple of months ago and we also have a dog that’s 11yrs old. My puppy loves this food and my 11yr old loves it too. My 11yr old wasn’t eating very well even though we added fresh ham or fresh turkey, etc. so I decided to have her try my puppy’s food and she loves it. My 11yr old is now excited about dinner time and she eats every bit of the food and she’s actually maintaining her weight she even acts like a puppy sometimes! (My 11yr old weighs about 60lbs so we give her 2 lil plates). I I’m not saying you should feed your dog like I do so, I recommend that you talk to your vet and see what he/she has to say because all dogs are different!

We have a 3 month old 21lbs Australian Shepard pup, he enjoys a mixture of dry with wet. He is very active so we are trying to make sure his bones, muscles and weight is healthy. Which of the food would you recommend?

How much should we be feeding a Maltese that weight 4 lbs. right now he is eating 1 bowl a day mixed with dry food .

I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. MY PUPPY IS ONLY EATING ONCE A DAY I JUST CHANGED HIM TO THE MERRICK BRAND HE EATS THE WHOLE CAN BUT HE DOESNT HAVE AN APPETITE THE REST OF THE DAY, HES ALSO VERY THIN FOR HIS SIZE HES LONG AND SKINNG HES A TERRIER MIX AND IS KIND OF LOOKING LIKE A GREYHOUND WITH HIS THINNESS I CAN SEE HIS RIBS AND HIP BONES
What is the best dry/wet dog food? Cherokee is so picky with dry and wet food. She will only eat little Cesar wet food and the dry for now is Purina. I've tried about 4 different brands and either she will puke it up or not eat if not her Cesar. Back story- she. We got Cherokee she barley had any teeth so wet was all she could eat. It took longer than normal for her teeth to come in. Been told by other dog owners to take her off cesars....but I don't know. Help me please!

Hi! I am considering changing Addy’s food over to Taste of the Wild High Prairee puppy food. It’s grain free and has lean proteins and a 28% protein content. Currently she is on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food that has whole grains. She is experience soft stool in the evening. I believe this may be from her food? Blue Buffalo is chicken based, and she does drink lots of water. She just had a vet appt, no presence of parasites in her stool. Any recommendations?

My mother bought a box of the safe-guard canine dewormer that comes in 3 2-gram pouches. Our puppies are chihuahua/pom mixes, one 7 weeks old, the other turns 6 weeks on Friday. But the dosage says 10 pounds/1 pouch. Both puppies are barely a pound, so how much would we give them per dose?
