Can anyone tell me if its vet approved? I have picky dogs as well lol Shinese weigh no more than 15pounds, also having issues when they do like it, keeping it in the stores. :( its frustrating also if the food is too rich or oily they immediately diherria
- I would not do it. I feed this to my 150lb great dane and it happens to be one of the Merricks (also wingaling) that give my 7yr old(elderly) female Weim diarrhea. That said it's a fantastic food just not for those with sensitive tummys.. I hope this helps friend!

She is not eating the Natural chicken and sweet potato cans I ordered. She is almost 14 years old. I have tried most of the Senior diet but the chicken and barley makes her belly bloat. She eats canned but due to several teeth removed cannot eat dry. She is a dachshund of normal weight and good health. She is still an active walker.
I want to get this canned food for my dog as a topper to her dry food. It has shredded chicken along with whole white beans, peas and potatoes. Will she be able to digest this ok because the beans, peas and potatoes are not ground into a pate texture? she's on the dry version of this currently. I also ditched the twelve calorie treats and purchased the smaller 2 calorie treats and I'm only giving her three of those per day. Her total intake of extras is now less than 10% of her diet. :-)
