Using the chart on the back of the product, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your puppy per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Every puppy is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use the information below as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed. Dry and wet food in combination will help to increase the level of water in your dog's diet. If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/2 cup for every 6 oz of wet food. Pregnant or nursing females may consume two or three times the recommended amount per day. For adult dogs, we recommend feeding 75 % of the recommended amount for puppies 16-52 weeks of age.

I am considering transitioning my puppy from hills science to merrick grain free dry dog food. Is merrick a good brand? What are the benefits of grain free dry dog food? What are the differences in feeding a dog salmon Vs chicken vs lamb vs duck?
I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
I have a German Shepherd and she is one month old. I am really unsure what dry food to get her. What is better: Purina Pro focus, Blue Wilderness, American journey, or taste of the wild? Should I get grain-free and large breed? If any other ones are suggested let me know.
What the best dry dog for food match my dog
HI Thank you for the last reply. Which type of dry kibble would you recommend for a giant GSD puppy and a belgium x kelpie medium size who is 10 mths . They have been on raw food but swapping to kibble as you and my vet has suggested. My vet says that grains are not a problem for most breeds .
Hey guys, I’m slowly transitioning my dogs over to adult food but they are still getting their puppy food. Mia always has some kind of allergy so I was looking into getting BLUE Basics® Grain-Free Salmon & Potato Recipe For Adult Dogs but it doesn’t have any chicken or poultry by-product meals, corn, wheat, soy, dairy or eggs. Is that even healthy missing all of those food groups? Right now my dogs are on Blue buffalo freedom grain free.
My puppy recently needed his anal glands expressed. I had him on grain free diet for a few months. But was recommended to switch him back to regular high fiber dog food. Looking for a high quality dog food without by products in it for my pup. What are some dry food brands you recommend? Besides Purina. Is blue buffalo, holistic select good? More suggestions. Thanks!
Best dog food for small not active 10/1/2 yr old Chin
This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. Bag of food says 4 cups daily. Any suggestions?
I am thinking about switching my dogs food to royal Cain. I have all 3 of my dogs on Merricks right now. One of my dogs is over weight
Best food for A Male Great Pyrenees Puppy?
Hello! Would Orijen puppy large breed be a good choice for my 10 months old german shepherd? I heard a lawsuit regarding this product, so should i rely on it or go for a different brand of food?
