How long is the string from the door frame to the toy? Is the string elastic? Thank you.
- Yes, it is elastic. It's approx 4 ft 8 in., I had to put an 8 in extension on mine so it would be closer to the floor. My cats are smaller in size.

My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
