what does catnip do to cats
Hi, We’ve gotten mindy a bunch of different toys for her and her sister to play with. They dont like any of them. So when we got a kitten and got him lots of toys mindy loved playing and chewing the cat toys. There is no catnip in the toys so what can i get mindy so she can play and have fun if she is scared of squeakers? Thank you.
Hi is catnip spray or the plant better to use for my cat and is it safe to use?
What is catnip and is it safe?
Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. At 1st he's would pounce the scratch not understanding he could scratch it as well, until I pour a little catnip on it..its organic, but wondering if it's alright brand? Or if there is a better idea to help him also understand vertical scratch post as well. as you can see he understands, he's not grasping vertical post besides walls/sofa
I bought a chew toy filled with Catnip for my 3month ragdoll kitten to ease his teething. But am suspicious about catnip effect so haven't given it to him yet. Will it be safe for him at this age? Is catnip smell good for cats in general? I hate to induce any drug like effects in my innocent kitten...so want to be double sure. Please HELP.
Our cat smelled these catnip stick and started biting it, rolling all over it and drooling. Is the latter also a sign of excitment? Because our other cat acted the same but didn't drool
Can my dog have catnip?
My fat cat is not very active and I don't know what toys to use-she usually play's with a small rubber type of toy but she sometimes eats the heads off She has a rubber grape she carries around Is this bad? Any toy recommendations?
Hello! I wonder how can I wash my cat's catnip toys? Can I machine wash them woth a pet friendly detergent? Like "Seventh Generation"? I use it on her blankets.. but I wonder if I use it on her cantip toys. Some of them were exposed to mold, so I don't want to wash them with only water, and definately not throw away all of them... Thank you.
We have recently re-introduced cat nip to our 2 cats. In the past, our one cat has drooled, vomited, and fallen over for a few secs. Vet did blood work/X-ray and everything seemed normal except a bit of constipation. Recently he started doing the same again. Episodes of drooling, vomiting, not seeming himself, lack of appetite. He also had an episode where he wailed and fell over for a few seconds, then got up and went to hide for a while. Is this seizure activity?
