Hi. Since Meow Mix dry cat food haven't been recalled yet, is it fine to feed my cat only 1 can of Fancy Feast and half cup of Meow Mix dry food? Will my cat can have UTI or kidney failure on that?
I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. I want to make sure I'm feeding them the best and most cost efficient way. What would you recommend feeding them, and how, and how much? Do their weights (attached photo) seem healthy?
What less expensive cat food brand is healthiest for both indoor and outdoor cats? Is it better to use dry or wet food?
What can i add to the friskies( dryfood ) to make it balanced?. Good brands coulndt be found in my area.
I have two cats, a 7 year old and an 11 year old. I've been giving them a mix of three types of dry food (Science Diet urinary health, Blue Buffalo healthy aging, and Blue Buffalo Indoor hairball control mature). Is this a good idea to mix these three together in their bowls? I just want them to get the benefits from these products as well and not get tired/develop an allergy from just one type of food constantly. Thank you!
How many days before a very thin cat can get fatten when he starts to eat cat food?? I feed my cat whiskas dry food and it said i should feed 1/2 cup of dry food for 10 pounds cat. Is that too little???
I wanted my male cat to loose weight I changed his diet to Iam's weight controll he was in February 11.8 lbs later 11 lbs later again 9.8 lbs today he is 8.2 he is not interested in canned dry treats he drinks regularly
My cat is 10 years old and appears healthy. Lots of energy and nice cost. He seems to have a problem chewing his Purina Naturals after many years of no problems. He works to break them into smaller pieces Is there a softer dry food? I don't want to go to canned food if possible.
I'm looking for a high quality limited ingredient diet with sodium levels between 0.3-0.5% dry matter basis maximum. Can someone recommend a brand to me? thanks!
One of the many options I have considered for my senior cat with FLUTD is giving him an all canned food diet. He currently eats dry food and some wet. When I look at the can, the feeding suggestions state 1 can per 2.5 pounds. So that would be about 4 cans. Heās lucky to finish an entire can in a day. Does this indicate that a canned diet might not be best or do some cats eat less than than that suggestion or because he has dry too? Iāve only ever gave cats dry food so this all new to me. Thanks
What kind of food should my 11 m/o cat be fed after being on Simply Nourish Kitten food? He was starving/skinny when I rescued him and the vet thinks he's a mix with Maine Coon. He's pretty big for 11 months because the 12 y/o lady is much smaller than he is. He's also really bad at biting fingers and just, humans, and we never play with him with our fingers, new cat mom, many questions.
Jerry our few months old kitten runs off almost everyday thus his food habit has changed. We're feeding him dry ocean food along with wet packet tuna and chicken. What can I feed him for change?
