Mazuri Waterfowl Breeder Diet is formulated to optimize breeding performance, egg numbers, fecundity and chick viability for common ducks and other ornamental waterfowl. This waterfowl food is designed to meet the nutritional needs of the vast majority waterfowl. Containing fishmeal, this floating waterfowl diet allows for feeding of birds in the water and helps limit the accumulation of uneaten food on the bottom of the feeding area limiting contamination and waste.

Mazuri Waterfowl Breeder Diet can be fed to birds as a major part of the daily food intake during the breeding season (spring months). The feed can be offered ad libitum to mature birds 2 to 4 weeks before breeding season. Adult birds should eat in the range of 25 to 30 grams per kilogram of body weight each day, depending on species size. Scatter directly on the water, where it will float, or it can be fed in a long, shallow trough, which will prevent the food from floating away. If supplementation is desired, species-appropriate food items should be provided at no more than 20% of the total dietary intake (as is basis).

I was looking for food for three geese who live in the lake by my house. They used to be part of a flock. The waterwild fowl food is awesome it floats and they love it. It’s not their primary food source. What has been extra joyous is the fish that live around my dock, not fully grown join the party and occasionally a turtle comes along.
