Feed animal's approximately 1-4% of body weight per day, on a dry matter basis. Feed consumption will vary with environmental temperatures, level of activity and animal life stage. Mazuri Small Tortoise Diet LS should be a quarter to half (25 to 50%) of the total daily intake, with grasses and produce for the remaining portion. It may be necessary to soften Mazuri Small Tortoise Diet LS with water until the animals become acclimated to the diet. If moistened, the diet should be replaced at least twice daily. Provide animals with good quality fresh grass, or hay for small tortoises. Fresh produce food items - greens, vegetables and fruits - may be included in the daily food offering, but should be no more than half (50%) of the total diet. Fruit or high sugar vegetables: Offer no more than 5% by weight of total diet. Use vegetables and greens low in oxalate like kale, turnip greens, and squash until the animals become acclimated to diet.

Hello, I’d like to take proper care of my tortoise and I’d like to vary its diet but have no idea what I can feed it with. It really likes sunflower shoots but I know they’re not enough. I feed it with fruit from time to time. It mostly eats rocket. I’d be grateful for any advice.
Wat should I feed my soft shell turtle???
How much Fenbendazole would you give to a box turtle that weighs about to or less than 3 lbs? Where can you get it and what should I buy
I just got a three month old baby sulcata and he seems to have 3 small sores or lesions on his plastron. he's in a 40 gal tank with orchid bark. temps are 75-90 (gradient) and I soak him once a day. He has a UV light and is also getting calcium as every meal. I am overwhelmed with the abundance of misinformation I am finding on sulcata care. He eats dark leafy greens at the moment along with some grasses. He's not lethargic at all. Any ideas?
I've had my Russian tortoise for about 3 years. Unfortunately he got hit by a lawn mower about 2 years ago. The vet put a fiberglass she'll on it and he seemed to be fine. Now he does not move his eyes are shut most of the time and he is eating less and less. We have been soaking him in warm water and lightly misting him with water so he can open his eyes. We usually feed him mostly romaine lettuce, spinach and collard greens. He is very picky and prefers the romaine lettuce.
I have a tortoise (8months) and the last few days he has lost his appetite, become less active, struggles to open his eyes and keeps openning his mouth
