Feed animal's approximately 1-4% of body weight per day, on a dry matter basis. It may be needed to soften Mazuri Herbivorous Reptile Diet with water until animals become acclimated to the diet. If moistened, the diet should be replaced at least twice daily. Appropriate supplemental food items should be provided to your reptile. Produce should consist primarily of leafy greens and vegetables low in oxalate like kale, turnip greens and squash. Fruit or high sugar vegetables should be limited to no more than 5% by weight of total diet. Always provide animals with plenty of fresh, clean water. Proper humidity levels are also critical for health and proper growth of herbivorous reptiles. Wash hands thoroughly after feeding and/or handling animals. This diet is not for human consumption.

I just bought herbivorous reptile entrée fortified daily diet for my new veiled chameleon, I just bought the chameleon a few days ago and was wondering if it would eat this, before I open the package in case I need to return. I don't know much so far about veiled chameleons so I would greatly appreciate any information given about this.
I foster an American Chinchilla rabbit for a local rescue. He has one ear and is about 7lbs, but is pure skin and bones.
