Feed free choice to hamsters and gerbils. Feed consumption will be based on species body size and life stage. Use the following examples as guidelines, per animal: Syrian hamsters: Adults generally consume 20 to 25 grams of feed per day (approx. 40 to 50 pellets). Dwarf hamsters: Adults generally consume 5 to 7 grams of feed per day (approx. 9 to 12 pellets). Gerbils: Adults generally consume 10 to 15 grams of feed per day (approx. 20 to 25 pellets). Growing hamsters and gerbils: Offer free choice as sole diet. For adults, supplemental food items (grasses, vegetables, and seeds) may be provided but should not make up more than 20% of the diet. Diets containing higher amounts of seeds and other high calorie treats may predispose animals to obesity and other nutritional health disorders.
This diet is not for human consumption.

Hello, I was wondering what would be the best food for pet mice when they are fat. His current food is: Daily blend wild harvest, his previous food was: vita prima rat mouse and gerbil formula.
About what percentage of a hamsters diet should be fresh hay?
Would you say this is good guinea pig food? I normally get grreat choice but I thought I'd try this.
Is a 112 quart bin a good size for a hamster to live in?
I am setting up a new habitat for my 2 sibling gerbils. I want it to be as natural of a habitat as their ancestors in the wild live in. Which substrate would you recommend that would be as natural as they would receive in their desert environment?
What foods can hamsters eat
Hello I was just wondering if this hamster food is good for my hamster. I noticed his coat is two toned. Some of it looks silky and the other fuzzy. I don't know if it's the food or if he's growing out of his baby fur maybe? I just got him from Petco and I didn't think to ask his age.
Can I use either morsal size for senior labs?
How much veggie and pellets should i feed my 3 month mini lop
Hi, I was wondering how much male Syrian hamsters are supposed to weigh. I’ve noticed Almond is getting really fat and he’s already bigger than any of the other Syrian hamsters I’ve had in the past. He’s close to double the size my other adult male was already. I don’t have a gram scale currently. Is it dangerous for them to be overweight? He has a wheel and a ball.
Can Guinea pigs use grreat choice pine wood shavings? I see carefresh made a mixture of paper and wood shavings. I'm low on funds this week and I had bought and aired out (for 4 days) grreat choice pine wood for my hamsters. But as I said I'm low on funds and was wondering if just this week I could use the pine wood? I don't want to harm my piggies in anyway.
My dwarf rabbit has developed "wet poops" recently rather than the usual Dry hard "berries", diet is green hay, spring mix lettuce dark colored, small Amounts of apple and blueberry (1 or 2 oz./ day) and small spoon rolled oats as treats; also a handful of hay pellets in 2 lots daily; 3 years old, rabbit has been Very healthy thus far; would you recommend diet adjustments; what share should be just hay?
