Keep Mazuri Timothy-Based Guinea Pig Diet to animals free-choice. Ensure that food is replaced frequently and provided in appropriate feeders. If supplementation is desired, it is recommended to offer supplements at 25% or less of the diet (as is basis). The choice of supplementation will vary with life stage and animal preference. In general, good quality grass hay and leafy greens are ideal supplemental food items for adult animals. Growing animals may benefit from higher protein found in alfalfa hay. Fruit supplementation should be minimal to avoid excess dietary sugar.

Is there a brand of food that dont contain the pellets, I've noticed that my guinea pig doesn't like eating the pellets in her food...she eats everything but the pellets & we end up throwing the pellets out so we refill her dish...we give her hay as well but I'm worried that she might not be getting enough food...she's not losing weight so far.
A little while ago I bought a big bag of pellets for my guinea pigs, 10 lbs. Now there is still quite a bit left but the best by date says 05/15/2019, which is coming soon. Is it okay to still give them the pellets even after the best by date?
My guinea pig blue passed a large poop today & when he did he squeaked. They have been eating OXBOW Timothy hay for a year now but the quality in the hay has changed & they stopped eating it they picked out the fuzzy pieces so they haven't been getting the amount of hay they should be for around 1 month, someone said try OXBOW orchard & he's been eating it like a "pig", could not really having hay-having hay & eating lots DO THIS? he only passed 1 big poop & only squeaked then , now all normal
How much victim c do guinea pig need a day ?
I just got a guinea pig about a week ago and she hasn't been eating her food pellets, only her hay, she eats a lot of the hay actually and I refill her hay everyday but she barely touches anything else I try to give to her, including treats or veggies.
My little guinea pig does't eating any thing till the day and looking ill
Can Guinea pigs use grreat choice pine wood shavings? I see carefresh made a mixture of paper and wood shavings. I'm low on funds this week and I had bought and aired out (for 4 days) grreat choice pine wood for my hamsters. But as I said I'm low on funds and was wondering if just this week I could use the pine wood? I don't want to harm my piggies in anyway.
I just read an article about sulcata tortoise care hoping to gain more information about what the best things to feed them are and saw that one of them is grass hay. Would that be the type of hay you normally feed guinea pigs?
what kinds of variety of foods would you suggest for younger guinea pigs? I currently feed them romaine lettuce and timothy hay daily, and cut up carrots about once a week.
How to prevent uri in guinea pigs
What are some good ways to supply my 2 year old Guinea Pig with Vitamin C besides giving him oranges?
Hi. I just bought my guinea pig japan and I have 2 questions regarding him. 1. Am i feeding him enough veggies a day. I feed him 1 1/2 cup each day and give him apples every 4 days. And will he get tired of eating the same foods and not eat.
