I Bought a dog Dog cooling Mat and My Dog is keep avoiding it and does not want to lay down on it. How do i get my dog to like it and lay down on it?
My dog ripped two medium sized holes in his self cooling mat (brand is “unleashed”) and I’m sure he digested some of the gel, exactly how much I do not know. They advertise that it is nontoxic, but idk if I should be worried or not?

I have a dog house with carpet over front entrance and a heated pet pad I bought from a hardware store. It seems warm and the 8 month old beagle goes in it but how cold is to cold for a four hour length outside while I work? He seems happy and the pad feels warm when I test it.
My dog has a mast cell tumor on the back of his leg that is being treated (palliative care) with chemo therapy, prednisone and benadryl. However, after those medications, his leg is still so swollen and he seems like he is in pain/very lethargic. His groin is also quite bruised. Can I apply a cold or hot compress for the swelling? I just bought a igloo dog house for my two doggies, so they have somewhere to be when it’s cold.
