Fill tub or sink with a few inches of luke warm water. Wet ferret thoroughly. Apply a small amount of shampoo and lather well. Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse. Repeat if necessary. Keep out of reach of children.

My ferret was recovering from fleas and his skin was a bit itchy so I thought I'd bathe him in this. After I bathed him I told my other ferret parents about this product to actually recommend it to them and then to my surprise they informed me that TEE TREE OIL IS HIGHLY TOXIC TO FERRETS AND CAN CAUSE DEATH!!! I called my exotics vet to confirm this and she said tea tree oil is bad in general for any animal but ESPECIALLY FERRETS!! I'm so disappointed in Marshalls brand for even consider making a product with such a toxic ingredient. Long story short shampoo went straight to the trash!!

This shampoo makes my ferrets smell great and keeps there fur soft and healthy. Also keeps fleas away naturally.

This product made my ferret smell great and left her fur feeling soft. It helped a little with fleas but only slowed them down, had to use flea medicine as well. Only given 4 stars because of the flea situation, however I still loved the product.

This product is great compared to others that i have tried! I love the smell of the shampoo as i bathe my ferrets although it dosent last long. But it dosent irritate their skin and it leaves them feeling nice and clean!

Bought this about 2 weeks ago since it was about due time for a bath for wiggles, gave her a bath and it was easy to rinse off and when she dried off she was super soft and fluffy! Would buy again! Good product!

No, it is formulated specifically for ferrets. It may cause irritation if used on cats. Get something formulated specifically for cats.

Bathing your ferret constantly or frequently cause theyre oils to strip which sends them into overdrive producing to many oils and drys out their skin ☺

Thank you for the question. The Tea Tree Ferret Shampoo has not been tested by Marshall Pet Products on guinea pigs. A safe alternative would be the Marshall's Foaming Waterless Shampoo for small pets.

There is no shampoo that will eliminate the smell of a ferret! Actually, the more your wash them, the stronger their scent will be! I've read a bunch about this in the research about my own ferret. MAYBE ferretone skin and coat supplement would help. My scent-gland removed marshall fields ferret has only a light odor - the supplement definitely helps his coat.
