My 3 ferrets seem to really like the taste of the product and it has encouraged my younger one to drink more. The odor is definitely been a lot less then when I wasn’t using the product. However, when I ordered the product via the website of Petco they sent the pump bottle with the pumper already up (not screwed down for shipment) so about a half ounce of the product leaked out in the plastic leak bag they had around the bottle.

Works fairly well, doesnt eliminate ammonia smell altogether, but certainly reduces it. I recommend using with every water bottle fill. I have a business of ferrets, 6 total and I can tell you, it's worth it to have this product on hand at all times for your little p**p machines!

Hardly anyone even thinks that we have a pet when you come to our house because his odor is basically non-existent. Of course he still has the glands that are behind his ears but we also take care of that with coconut oil. All in all, I love how this product seems to be working for our little guy.

considering that they make one for small animals and then one for ferrets- i think if it were my pet i would just get a diff size bottle-the one for ferrets is proble stronger an i wouldnt want to take any chances
