The Marble Wrasse is hardy, active and useful fish. This wrasse prefers to be added to well established aquariums with a sandy substrate and lots of rockwork. The Marble Wrasse likes to submerge itself in the sand when frightened or to sleep. Also make sure any rockwork is secure because this act could disturb the rocks. When feeding them, give them a varied small meaty diet. Feeding them multiple times a day is recommended as they are very active and keeping them full will help keep them away from desirable inverts. In addition, they are known predators of a myriad of unwanted pests like fire worms and pyramidellid snails. The Marble Wrasse prefers to be the only one of its species in the aquarium. They have an adult size of about 11". This wrasse is a great choice for reef aquariums because they will not bother corals/anemones. Their bodies are primarily pearly white or silver with a black checkerboard pattern. Their dorsal fin and tail are bright yellow in color.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
If we need to contact you for any reason about your order, shipping of your package may be affected. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order summary. Orders are subject to verification of payment information by phone or email.

What type of saltwater fish can I have in a 10 gallon tank
Hello! I'm looking to add some additional fish to my 36 gallon reef tank. So far, I have an orange firefish, 2 ocellaris clowns, a fire shrimp, a peppermint shrimp, and 4 blue legged hermit crabs. Do you have any recommendations other than damsels?
Why does my marigold platy have black spots on its body
So I have been thinking about getting a new caged animal, but am not sure what to get. I am hoping for a fairly easy animal to care for (AROUND the same "hardness level" as care for a Crested gecko), and one that doesn't need tons of (tank or cage) space. Also, I saw a Cowfish on a YouTube channel, and I thought they where cute, so I tried to find its care online, but I couldn't find anything. Nor could I find someone selling one.
Hi, I bought 6 platy fish and a black corydora catfish about 2 weeks ago, all seem in good health bright colours and swimming round as normal they are in a 48l tank which the pet store said was a big enough tank for them all, but one of them seems to be loosing his scales or I’m afraid he may have itch but it dosent look like it I hope you can help, thanks.
Medium size black spot with pink edges on cats leg
Is it suitable to make a 1 feet marine tank. What fish should i keep in it?
Is my marigold platy pregnant
My cichlid has been not acting normal and he he's turned a different color on one side and he has a green slime like tint in different spots of his body
why is my yellow parrot fish fight by mouth and rounding each together ?
I just bought a marble molly and a silver molly, both are swimming weird. They're swimming with their bodies up towards the top of the water. I have had my water check and its perfect and there are no other fish in the tank. Are they ok? My tank is also a 10 gallon.
Black worm with yellow or orange stripes and I don't know what it is
