Had to do my own research, a vet had my one horse on corn oil. Now I know flaxseed is the best choice. . It’s easier than using to use and store than liquid flaxseed oil. Helps my elderly foundered horse keep his weight stable and may help with inflammation. . My other horse had was always rubbing on trees, his coat is now shiny and the rubbing has stopped.

I like to know exactly what goes into my horses. So many feeds try to cover all the bases and have stuff in them that we don't need. I don't know where the fillers come from and could have an adverse affect on my sensitive, allergic warmblood. Simply Flax puts a shine on her coat and a twinkle in her eye. She loves the flavor of it. My only problem is figuring out how much ALA Omega-3 is actually being given in each cupful. I think I have to increase my dosage to reach her allergies. But Simply Flax helps her skin a lot.

I just started the simply flax as my horses coat just did not seem to have that shiny glow after days and hours of repetitive grooming. We just started this supplement and I am already noticing a difference at day 6. Can't wait to see what his coat looks like after a good 30 days. We will check back with a photo!!
