[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hen, Aggie, is a “mealworm connoisseur.” She’s incredibly picky and will turn her beak up at anything that doesn’t meet her standards. So the fact that she absolutely LOVED these MannaPro Farmhouse Favorites Mealworms is saying something! She dove right in, and she has already worked her way through most of this 5 lb bag. For one little hen, that’s impressive. We’ve tried several different brands over the years, and MannaPro is definitely one of our favorites. They consistently make high-quality products, and these mealworms are no exception. They’re clean, crunchy, and clearly delicious if you ask Aggie. I also appreciate how generous the bag size is, especially for chickens who believe snacks are a full-time hobby. We can already tell this is a product we’ll be coming back to once this bag is gone. If you have a picky hen or just want to treat your flock to something they’ll go crazy for, these are absolutely worth trying.

The meal worms were whole; very little breakage. The worms don’t seem highly processed. I’ve been very happy with the quality and so have my girls. I would buy this brand of food and snacks again.

Easy to store and did not give off any dust when feeding the chickens. Appearance is clean and easy to understand! Overall really good brand and good quality for the chickens!

The worms themselves are perfectly crunchy for our visiting birds- they loved the treat! They are easy to handle with a scoop and don't break up upon scooping. The resealable bag is perfect for storage, too. Adorable packaging design and enough to last us many months- we highly recommend this to anyone who wants high protein snacks for birds and other farm friends!
