Male Red Lyretail Anthias (Pseudanthias cheirospilos/squamipinnis)

Red Lyretail Anthias are brightly colored and make an exquisite display when added in a group. The female Orange Lyretail Anthias can be added in groups of at least three, but they do much better in a harem size of 6 or 9. Usually, one in the group will morph into a male, but a male Red Yellow Breast Lyretail can be added for every 4 or 5 females, which gives a much more completed look and saves the fish a dominance struggle. The females are predominately orange in color with yellow in their fins. They have a pinkish purple stripe that goes from their eye to their pectoral fins. The males are predominately red and purple in color with vibrant red and yellow in the fins. The males also have an elongated dorsal fin, which helps with identifying. They have a red stripe that goes from their eyes to their pectoral fins. The males also have a bright yellow color on their breast. The Lyretail Anthias has a maximum size of about 5" and will need a substantial amount of swimming room.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.

My male Crowntail Betta fish is acting very lethargic, he stays at the bottom of the tank and only coming up for air, barely eats, his stomach looks hollow, and the scales along his back are raised. He has been this way for a few weeks but isn't getting better. I change his water weekly, and he lives in an environment where his is not caused stress.
What type of fish can I keep with my adult male betta fish, he is in a 3 gallon tank.

When I bought my white tree frog from Petsmart it had what looks like an old scar on his leg (see attached picture). So far he has been acting as normal as my other white tree frog, other than being a little shy and better at hiding. I've had him for over a week now, should I warrant concern? Hi Noticed the maltachion we have(neutered about 8m ago, now 3 yo) pigmentation on nose, dorsal and ventral parts of torso have been changing slightly from a pink (not nose)) to a black colour, nose from black to a more brown/hint of pink colour, should we be concerned?

I have 2 Mystery Snails and a betta in a 3.5G tank. Tank is filtered and has a heater. One snail has not grown at all while the other has nearly doubled in size. He is lathargic and I rarely see him eat his food or even come out of the shell. His shell has turned to a dull dark brown colour and looks to be cracking a little bit. Does this sound like a water issue? Does he sound sick? What can I do to help him. In the last picture, he is the smaller snail in the front.

Hello! My parakeet, 6 years old, has developed a thin reddish black growth that seems to be coming from the inside of his beak and splitting off. It's about 1/8 of an inch long. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My dog has large red bumps/spots all over his belly and chest and hind legs. He also has smaller red bumps on his sides. The ones on his belly don’t seem to itch them but they are really concerning me. He is just over a year old. Thanks!
