The Banana Wrasse has exquisite coloration, hardiness and high activity levels that make them very desirable in the aquarium hobby. When young, they are relatively reef safe because they choose planktonic foods and parasites over invertebrates. As they age, they are likely to consume motile inverts of all types, including snails, crabs, sea stars and urchins. If possible, add this wrasse to the aquarium last since they can be territorial. Feed a varied small meaty diet multiple times a day, as they are very active and keeping them full will help keep them away from desirable inverts. They are known predators of unwanted pests like bristle worms and mantis shrimp. They are capable jumpers at all stages of their life, so a covered aquarium is necessary. They will grow to be one foot and need ample swimming room. Juveniles are mostly yellow with facial markings. Male adults have a deep blue color with colorful fins.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.

How to care Newly red wagtail platy and Mickey mouse platy fish in a 72 litre tank with any health problems ?
Hello! My pet male betta, Mr. Bubbles is rather small and doesn't seem to be getting any bigger. He also tends to stay under my plant in his bowl and tends to float to the top quite a bit. He's healthy otherwise. He's a picky eater too. I'm feeding him Bette Bits and freeze dried blood worms. Sometimes he doesn't even eat it or eats it then blows the pellet out. I've had him for close to 6 months.
Hi, I was wondering if my Dwarf Gourami fish are male or female and why one keeps chasing the other and nipping at it?
What is this?male cat. 5 years old. Scottish fold.
We recently bought a Betta from a chain store pet shop. He is currently in a 10 gallon tank with a heater. He’s been eating and swimming around, acting fine. The first day we had him I noticed this bump. (Didn’t notice in the petstore but hard to see in those cups they keep them in) Here’s a side shot. Looks like one tiny fluid filled bump, size of a scale. Any ideas?
Hi. I was wondering, what species of frog is roughly 2 inches in length, light green and has large feet and how much do i have to feed it?
