This is the worst pet stair product ever!!! It has no weight to it. It is soooo flimsy. Pure crap. Does not even come close to description. Covering is extremely loose so pet could (most likely would) easily lose footing. If this could handle the weight of a very small stuffed toy pet it would be a miracle! Steps are less wide as stated.. pet would not fit on these steps .... maybe a tea cup dog or 3 week old kitten.... but then would fall off as step falls backward. TOTAL JUNK! SURELY NOT WORTH $44 + shipping! OH... I paid for 2 day shipping but had to call on May 31 main petco number several times to get a customer service person (Who was a very nice man). Still had to wait another 10 days. Returning first thing tomorrow! No more Petco for me EVER!!! OH... and you cannot post this review without all personal information!

Sturdy but lightweight. A good height for our couch. Works well for our 15 pound dog. This is definitely a small dog product. A heavy dog would sink into the foam. I have walked into it a few times and am thankful I bought a soft product!
