My very large male cat has trouble getting intout his litter pan.. Do you know where I can get a large, very large pan?

What size crate should I purchase for an adult German Shepherd I am planning to adopt?
I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.

I need your help here. I've been thinking to purchase a crate and a crate bed and crate cover for my little girl. Since she loves to nap under the table and I thought it'll be much safer and comfortable for her to sleep there from time to time. And safer from the friend's and families children from hurting her. my 17 yr. old 5 # Pomeranian (neutered male) has to wear a male wrap, due to frequent wetting in the house... but can wriggle out of it...I found the Vet's Best Perfect Fit ...which sounds like it would work well, but I need a liner that is really absorbent to put in it...
