This bed is perfect for dogs of any ages and life stages, it is great for dogs with arthritic joint and back problems as well. The Shredded memory foam is protected by a cover underneath the removable slipcover, and the base of the bed is a 300/600 water-resistant Denier material. The zipped slipcover can be washed on gentle cycle with a mild detergent and tumble dried on low. Do not wash the foam insert (spot clean only). This bed will arrive in a vacuum compressed package. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for the bed to expand to its full size.

Hello, I have a 7 year old black lab. He's a big boy who gets very hot in warm weather so likes to lie on the coolest surface he can find which is always hard. Consequently, he has callouses on his elbows but they have become a lot bigger this year and one of them looks sore. I just wondered what Ii could do to alleviate this problem. So I took in a stray that is at least five years old and has rather obviously had it rough. I am keeping him segregated and also set up a cat condo for him in said room, which he tends to stay in, sleeping (the condo, I mean). I bought him this nice, plush self warming bed that he is absolutely rejecting. Seriously, he'd rather sleep on bare floor than this bed. But he'll rub on it and lean against it to sleep. Why does my guy hate his bed? *note, I have provided him with soft blankets he loves.
