What's the difference between a "bagel" bed and a "bolster" bed?

In the description it says to wash on gentle and air dry. How long does it take to air dry it? Some of you mention taking it to the laundromat, so does that mean it can be put in the dryer?
- It’s almost too large for a home washer so I have to go to the laundromat to wash. I dried it on gentle so the filling could redistribute. Seems fine doing it this way

Our dog is stinky so we would need a bed that’s easy to wash. Is this bed machine washable?
- I have not washed the bed yet (we bought 2 so our dog would have an extra one when one was being washed). Yes, it is washable but you would either need to clean it by hand (maybe in the bathtub) and let it dry in the sun or take it to the laundromat and use the big washer. Our dog loves his bagel bed.

Will my ShiChon who is 15 long and 11 high fit in a airline soft sided carrier that is 17x11x11? Will she be comfortable as well? I’ve attached a picture of her in it. She climbed in herself.

we have a 20 pound rat terrier mix in excellent health, not overweight. She is 11 yrs old and we were trying to fin d a carrier like a backpack to put her in for our long walks, when she gets tired. There are so many to choose from. I like the ones that we strap on the front of the human, and her legs stick out at the top and bottom just like a real baby. However I am concerned that the position might put too much pressure on her back end. What can you recommend?
