i bought this toy for my cat yesterday and within 30 minutes of playing with it, the string got wrapped around his back leg so tightly that it was cutting off his circulation. he was screaming and running around the room with the toy still attached to him. it was so tight i needed to cut him out with scissors. he was so afraid and confused that while i was trying to help him he bit my hand quite badly and i now require 7 days of oral antibiotics to prevent an infection. this is an unbelievably dangerous toy and a SICK company for even manufacturing and taking people’s hard earned money for something that will inevitably endanger their cat and even their own safety.

My cat needed surgery because of this toy! It needs to be taken off the shelf immediately. Reading all these reviews makes me wonder why it is still on shelf. Absolutely unacceptable.

Within an hour of owning this toy my cat was in the emergency room. This toy I not safe for cat. My 1 year old cat ate the string and will potentially need surgery if she does not pass it on her own. It was hundreds of dollars at the vet. Hoping our poor cat does not need surgery.

The string got wrapped around my kitty’s leg and she ran around the house with the pole still attached. It eventually broke off and she hid under the couch in fear! It was heartbreaking. She hissed at me when I tried to cut it off bc it was wrapped around so tight. I was panicking but eventually was able to cut it off. So results for the little angel. Do not recommend!!!!!

My cats enjoy this toy, especially the light up ball. I enjoy it because it’s easier to use when I’m not on the ground with them. I will say, only let your cats play with this with supervision. The string is thin and can cause harm like some of the other reviews have mentioned. As long as you are paying close attention and monitoring your cat, it’s a great stimulating toy. I hide the toy in a spot they can’t get to when we’re done playing with it.

The string on this toy has wrapped around my kittens limbs more than once. I should have thrown it away the first time it happened, it wrapped around my kittens foot so tight I was scared I wouldnt be able to get it off soon enough. Thankfully after cutting the string in a few different places frantically, hoping i dont slice my 8 week old kitten, I was able to get it off and he limped away. I will NEVER get the distressed screams from my 8 week old baby out of my head. If im traumatized, hes traumatized.
