It’s a heavier, durable material that looks like it’ll last the wear and tear of a puppy. The hook is large enough for a bulkier leash to attach and the clasp doesn’t seem like it’d break easy. The pattern is super cute, which is a perk!

Just received our Holly Jolly collar and the matching leash and reversible vest. We just got a new puppy, so it’s too big now, but the nice folks at Lucy & Co. advised me on sizing for when our pup is grown and it looks like it’ll be a perfect fit. The collar is really cute and very well made. I’m sure it’s going to be a favorite for years to come.
